Okay, so she was only 11 when Brad kissed her in Interview with the Vampire — but there have been plenty of other uncomfortable onscreen smooches!

Who wouldn’t want to kissBrad Pitt? Answer: Kirsten Dunst — at least, when she was 11 years old. The actress, now 30, shared her first-ever kiss with Pitt in the 1994 filmInterview with the Vampire. It was “just a peck,” she now recalls, but she didn’t exactly enjoy it.

“Everyone at the time was like, ‘You’re so lucky you kissed Brad Pitt,’ but I thought it was disgusting,” she tells Bullett magazine. “I didn’t kiss anyone else until I was 16, I think. I was a late bloomer.”

It’s okay, Kirsten — lots of actors have to grit their teeth through kissing scenes! Below, five onscreen make-out sessions that apparently weren’t as fun as they looked.

Emma Watson and Rupert Grint in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Fans had to wait for the final Harry Potter film to see Hermione and Ron finally smooch. But the actors just wanted to get it over with! “The only good side to it was the fact that we were both in the same boat,” Watson told MTV News. “We were both just like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe we have to do this. This is so awkward. Really awkward.’ So I could take comfort in the fact that Rupert felt the same way. We were both giggling. We were like 12-year-olds. We were like giggling children where you just couldn’t keep it together.”

Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain

Jake and Heath’s cowboy romance heated up the screen, but on the set, it was a different story. “When it came to doing love scenes and stuff like that, the best metaphor I can give is that it felt like we were both like, ‘Are you ready? Yeah. Let’s go,’ and we dove off the boat into the deep end,” Gyllenhaal told About.com. “It’s like when you’re terrified of the water, you see a little kid thrown in the water and they’re trying to get back to the boat as fast as they can. That’s what it was like. But at the same time when we were there we really went for it.”

Blake Lively and Taylor Kitsch in Savages

TV veterans Kitsch and Lively didn’t have a lot of experience with R-rated love scenes when they shot one for their 2012 Oliver Stone film. “It’s very awkward to do, you know, and I was just glad it was over with, to be honest,” Kitsch told People. “God knows we had two weeks of rehearsal, so we talked until we were about to pass out, and then [we shot the sex scenes] on the day I think I knew Blake three days … four days maybe.”

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith on Glee

Considering that these two would be a real-life couple within a year, you’d think that their big “first time” scene on Glee would have inspired sparks. Apparently not. “I adore Cory. He’s like my brother and to have to do some of the stuff we did in front of our entire crew…it’s so less sexy than you think,” Michele told E! News. “Really, we were in a room with like 20 people around us, sitting by the fireplace. He was sweating so much. I was so grossed out!”

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in Twilight: Eclipse

Kissing Robert Pattinson was obviously not an issue for Stewart. Kissing Lautner, though — that was less romantic. “As soon as we finished, as soon as we pulled away and they called cut, she’d look at me and I’d look at her and there would be a moment of silence,” Lautner told Access Hollywood. “And she would go: We just kissed!”
